True Tune:
From Vintage to classy to contemporary - True Tune tuning keys cover a wide range of applications. Drop-in ready for most platforms and made from high quality materials and components, we have engineered these keys to offer pro-level performance with a high-end look and feel!
Open Gear 3x3
Our True-Tune Open Gear tuning keys offer a sleek and traditional look made to compliment any high-end guitar! The higher 18:1 gear ratio and tighter string post offer more accurate and stable tuning, and the high-quality steel worm gear with its nylon washers ensure a smoother high-end feel. This key features a collar on the base plate of the key surrounding the string post. This ensures the post sits properly in the headstock, centering it with the included bushings to help eliminate friction between the bushing and string post and allowing for smoother tuning and improves the over-all longevity of the key. Whereas some other open gear keys require a two-step hole (smaller hole for the post and larger hole for the bushing) to be drilled, the True-Tune open gear keys require only one size (8.5mm) hole to be drilled the in headstock for both the post collar and bushing. Whether upgrading your existing keys or installing them onto a new build, the True Tune Open Gear tuners were made to give your guitar a high-end look with stable and accurate tuning!
