Our Select “Tribute” models pay homage to legendary artists by pairing their preferred specs with upgraded roasted maple options for a truly unique playing experience. Produced in extremely limited batches and individually graded and inspected, Allparts Select Tribute necks are inspired by legends and available to you!
Model Overview
Playing with the Yardbirds, John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos, and as a solo artist, Eric Clapton virtually wrote the book of modern guitar tones. Whether exploring psychedelia, defining British Blues, or performing as a songwriter, his ever-tasteful playing proved inspired and inspiring. Our “Layla” neck pays homage to his indelible contribution to guitar playing and our overall sense of tone by combining many of his preferred specs into one highly playable, vintage-inspired replacement neck.
What's AAA+?
Every unit with this designation is at least AAA grade flame maple, with many units actually exceeding the standard. We inspect each unit post-production to make certain the finished product is worthy of our AAA guarantee.
Why Roasted?
Roasting the wood enhances stability by reducing the moisture content down to around 7%. The result is a more-resonant neck that’s stronger and less susceptible to changing weather conditions.

Important Notes
- Statements relating to artists are intended only for reference and do not imply endorsement, association or use of this product.
- Wood grain varies from neck to neck. Your neck may differ slightly from what is pictured.
- All necks have a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
- All necks may require fret leveling and polish. This is normal and not a defect.
- To protect against the effects of moisture, we recommend sealing unfinished necks prior to installation.
- Due to the lack of moisture in roasted maple, the risk for cracking is more apparent. When drilling holes for screws, we recommend measuring inside and outside of the threads first to determine the correct drill bit to use. Do not force screws into holes drilled with smaller drill bits.
